The CrossFit program at Glover Park will be simple and sweet. The main focus will be proper functional movement as applicable to linear strength gains. With strength as the main focus, the secondary objective will be the application of strength towards total metabolic conditioning. By combining strength and conditioning in complimentary exercises and movements, with proper adherence, overall physiological adaptation will transpire.
The workouts and workload will constantly vary, however, the approach- safety/form, strength, conditioning and body weight movements- remain the focus.
The Weight Lifting specific class will consist of detailed coaching related to two lifts: the snatch and the clean and jerk. The class will be structured and consist of qualitative movement versus overall quantity. For those interested in this class, it is strongly suggested not to participate in any other lifting exercise within three hours prior to the start of class.
